Tanjong Pagar Park

Tanjong Pagar Park (formerly Tanjong Pagar RICOH Park) is a Singapore park. Above Tanjong Pagar MRT.

It was opened on October 21, 2005 by the National Parks Board and Ricoh Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. People could meet and interact in this colorful and green pocket park. To soften the harshness of the concrete buildings in the CBD, the park had colorful plant landscapes and trellises with climber plants. Signs throughout the park explained the park’s environment, encouraging visitors to enjoy the park’s greenery. Some of the park’s trees included Cratoxylum formosum and Pterocarpus indicus (Angsana). Ricoh donated 17 recycled toner cartridge benches made in Australia to the park.

The Tanjong Pagar Centre replaced the park in 2013. In 2016, an Urban Park was built atop the Tanjong Pagar Centre, giving it a new look and feel.
